About the Mirage
Miami Is Not a Real Place is an ongoing field study of a city that behaves more like a mood than a map. We roll cameras on sidewalks, in botanicas, at 4 AM bodegas — anywhere the myth is thin enough to see through.
Every episode is a short, cinematic street interview. No filters, no ad reads, no explainers. Just the people who make this fever-dream of a coastline hum.
Filmed on 35mm-emulated digital. Edited to the hum of the Metromover. Released whenever the humidity says so.
